Coleman Domingo’s first major role on television
Line of Events
Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for her innocence and her life after she stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Boy, I wanted to love this one. I’ve enjoyed other things Coleman has done, but it’s a waste of time.
He’s not that kind of host
Some really questionable and predictable script choices and, sorry, not-so-great acting all around. And poor Coleman is just miscast here. Reminds me of when Tyler Perry tried to play Alex Cross.
It’s just not believable
As the episode dragged on and scene after scene of two people inexplicably whispering plot points to each other (why NOT show us?), it was really hard to stay awake. Watching Coleman run was painful. I always find it funny when non-athletic actors are given the chance to play action roles.
Not everyone can be an action star
(He wasn’t great with action in Fear the Walking Dead, and he’s not here either.) It always creeps me out and smacks of a vanity project. His mouth hangs open in every scene when he’s “thinking” (I’m saying he’s not comfortable and is busy acting “straight” in my opinion). Move on. Skip this.
